The Steinberg School of Music offers piano, violin and music theory lessons from a purpose built studio in Greenwich. Situated on Vanbrugh Hill and run by a friendly husband and wife team, the school teaches around 40 students of all ages each week, and lessons take place Mon-Fri 3pm-8pm. Twice a year the school hosts a pupils’ concert in St. Alfege Church, Greenwich, giving our school-age pupils a regular chance to perform to large audiences.
Many of our pupils are encouraged to prepare for ABRSM examinations, local festivals and scholarship auditions and the school boasts a 100% pass-rate with the vast majority attaining a merit or distinction in each exam. We also have a proven track record in preparing pupils for music scholarship auditions at 11+.
